5k Your Way- Move Against Cancer |
Free 5k walk or run on the last Saturday of every month at 8.45 at Lake Meadows (meeting outside the cafe then joining Park Run at 9.30). For anyone living with or beyond cancer- families, friends and health care professionals. To self-refer to Basildon, Broomfield or Southend hospitals fill in the Maternity Direct form at MATERNITY DIRECT SERVICE – North Chelmsford NHS Healthcare Centre If you haven’t already, start taking some Pregnancy vitaminds (need to contain Folic Acid 400 mcg and Vitamin D 10 mcg per day)

- Ask at your Pharmacy - Buy a home blood pressure monitor. A good home BP monitor doesn’t need to cost more than £30-£40 and can be used by all members of your family!
BP aims - Usually 140/90 - If over 80 years 150/90 - If diabetic or some patients with kidney disease 130/80
