You can now have access to our appointments system on line. By using this system you will be able to book a routine appointment with a doctor up to two weeks in advance (no on the day appointments will be available).
You can also have access to the new repeat Prescription ordering facility. The new system will allow you to choose the medication from your medical record rather than you having to type the medication that you require.
To be able to use the on-line services you will need to register by downloading the
application form so that a user name and password can be created for you.
You can continue to use the existing prescription service until 31st October 2010.
Using this service will enable you to access both appointments and prescriptions 24 hours a day.

Car Park
We are sorry if you have experienced problems in parking. As you are
probably aware, the car park is usually very busy, particularly in the
mornings. To avoid arriving late for your appointment, please allow
plenty of time to park your car as you may have to queue for some time
until a space is available.
If you wish to make a complaint regarding parking at the Health Centre,
we have produced a form for you to complete. This can be collected from
reception.
Fees for Non-NHS Services
We have recently reviewed the fees for non-NHS services, such as forms
completed by the doctor for private medical insurance claims, travel
insurance claims, etc. A list of the updated fees is on display at
reception. Please note that completion of these forms can take up to 20
working days.
Mobile Telephone Numbers
If you have a mobile telephone, it may be helpful for the practice to
have the number on our records. You may wish to advise us of your number
by telephone or at reception.
Coil Fitting Service
We offer a full coil fitting service, which includes follow ups,
removals, changeovers and new fittings (of both copper coils and the
Mirena IUD). Please ask at reception for details.
Minor Surgery
We offer a minor surgery service for certain skin conditions and
aspirations.
If you have any condition that you are worried about, please make an
appointment to see your GP who will then arrange for any necessary
intervention. Please ask at reception for details.
Yellow Fever Centre
Did you know that the surgery has been approved by the Department of
Health as a Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre?
A Yellow Fever vaccination is required if you are planning to travel to
some parts of Africa and South America, at least 10 days before
departure. There is a standard charge for the vaccination.
Please telephone the practice nurse for further information.
Routine Appointments
Based on feedback from patients, the practice has increased the number
of appointments available to book in advance to 75%, with the remaining
25% being available to book on the day.
Home Visits
Home visits will only be done by doctors if they feel it is medically
appropriate to do so. If the doctor feels that it is not medically
necessary to provide a home visit, you may be asked to come to the
surgery to be seen.
We regret that transport difficulties may not be a reason for a home
visit.
